Vision

We wanted to create a larp about gender. Where anyone can play a beautiful elven princess or a handsome strong and charming elven hero. We also wanted to make this larp playful, full of humor and drama. 

 

And eventually it is a a larp inspired by 1960s bording schools, movies about school life like Mean Girls, Harry Potter, Wings - fait saga,  Dead poets sosciety, and also larps like The girls school, The boys school, The Summer School, Collage of wizardry, The forbidden history. And a larp discussion in Norway in the late 90s, about if girls could play strong warriors and if men could play sweet elven princesses. (which we by now know the answer to: YES they can)

The larp is ment to give us all the needed alibis to risk playing a different gender than you normally identify as. Humor, fantasy, randomness and a underlying order from us to be bold. 

Elven high is a high school larp about elves who try to find their identity, to cope with school, friends, parents and figure out what they want to do with their lives, how to help their friends, fall in love and dream. While the school is attacked by a horrific curse in the middle of the important ritual where the junior students reveail their gender.
