FAQ

  • What is a larp?
LARP stands for Live Action Role Playing. It is a form of interactive gaming where participants take on the roles of characters in a fictional world and act out their actions and decisions in real time. LARP events can vary in size from small, private gatherings to large-scale events with hundreds of participants. The game typically involves immersive storytelling, costuming, and props, and can last anywhere from a few hours to several days. In essence, it is a type of collaborative storytelling where the players are active participants in creating the narrative of the game world. The Norwegian word for larp is laiv.
  • How is gender selected?
Your character is drawn at random. Halv of the characters have an assigned gender, the other half will get an assigned gender during the larp. The whole prosess is opt inn. We do want you to be brave and play what is given, but we do understand that this can be difficult. If you chose to opt out, please contact the organisers and we will sort this out in your best interest.
  • Is this larp for me?
The larp is about gender, school life, school drama, fey and humor. You must handle the risk of playing a different gender than the one you identify as. There is no action scenes, fighting, no large amount of violence. Murder is not part of this game.
  • What do I need to bring?
Minimum gender neutral clothing. Elf ears, elf wings and other elf or fey costume is recommended but not required. Something non alcoholic to drink. Something to eat if you need this. A book to write in and a pencil. If you are playing a woman, bring a dress. If you are playing a man, bring a maskuline costume. Fey/elf makeup, fluff, cloaks, court specific colours is all good, but far from required.
